Well four nerite snails arrived in the post today. This guy seems to be the only one thats moved much. He's a staghorn nerite:

These two are just hiding in the coconut shell and have not travelled much at all:

Group shot. The horse shoe nerite has travelled somewhere at least. Anyone know what the weird circle bits are?

Here's better pic of horse shoe, and mini mystery decided to get in for shot:

Wow, never thought I'd hear myself say it/write it about some snails, but they're lovely :)

Yeah they have stunning patterns, the staghorn looks like 'a don’t mess with me' snail. I don’t know what the circles on the horseshoe are. Looks like he had many small passengers at one time in his life, but I have no idea. The tigers pattern is really stunning.

Hope they do well, not something I would say about snails to many on the forum.

you should get a bumblebee nerite, they are the buisness! i have one called Wonka, he likes to hitch a ride on my huge apples lol

Yea I was gonna get a bumble bee but these four guys were sold as a pack. I'll see how these ones get on first and get to know them. They really aren't that active which worries me but then they may not be lke my apple snail who is really active, and who I thought died today! But he didn't yay!

The circular marks are from another snail laying eggs on its shell at some point in the past.
