Hello folks,
I currently have a betta and two nerite snails in a 6.6 gallon (Petco Bookshelf Aquarium) tank. I've got my hands on some IAL and I know they release tannins and lower pH which bettas appreciate.
The water coming out of my tap is at 7.8 pH and I imagine the IAL will lower that. I don't know how much one 8 inch (20 cm) leaf will lower the pH. Will my nerites be okay in a lower pH, say between 6.0-7.0?
