I have had 5 neon tetras for quite some time now and suddenly today i have noticed that one neon has gotten quite large. I have male neons as well (cos they're really slim) and was just wondering whether she is going to drop some eggs?

Is possible, or maybe she has been pigging out! Generally they will spawn at night, or when the lights are off. Zero chance of any eggs or fry getting through uneaten though. If you want to have a go at breeding them, pop them in a tank alone and line the bottom with a course sponge or wool mat to catch the eggs and prevent them from being eaten. After you have seen them spawn you can take the adults out and wait for the fry to hatch. Feed liquid Spirulina, or similar
