Neon Tetra Red Line Problem With Black Line

Ive got 20 neon tetra in a 4ft fish tank 40 gallon. It has a fluval 150w heater and fluval u4 pump filter with hell-x meida. Also planted with alot of cabomba plants and afew java fern. The 19 neon tetra are fine no problems.

But there one neon tetra it tends to spend time on its own away from the group. Then other times it will mix with the group as well. It has alittle red missing on the line on both sides. But one side has slightly more then the other side. Also there a black line more visable on the bottom and abit on the top.

Is he eating? I have a small group of 9. Seems like one is always like that, a little funky and stays a bit away from the others most of the time. Sometimes I look at him and think, is he sick? But I can never determine any definite problem with him, and he always rushes in to eat, so I leave him alone. A year later he still acts the same and is doing fine. I have totally come full circle in regards to treating with meds. I used to do it right away, now it's just as a last resort. I haven't treated or lost any fish in more than a year.

The neon does eat sometimes it will come out fast to eat. Then other times stays out of the way and might come out later.

But with the red missing abit on both sides and this black line its abit strange.

Looking down at the fish its got small lumps as well.
