Sometimes Right, Sometimes Wrong but ALWAYS certai
I have 3 Neolamprologus leleupi which were all the same size when they went in.
I have now worked out that I have 2 males and 1 female. This is because I can see the female depositing eggs and the larger of the males hovering over them as she lays doing his thing.
The other male (looking a bit p***ed off) is watching. If he gets too close the other male sees him off.
I'm thrilled with this but I guess I'll have to remove the other male now I know. That is going to involve taking the rocks out as it's going to be a nightmare catching him.
Or do you think it's ok to leave as is? I mean they don't bother her (like live bearers do to each other) now or before, the 2 male just spar now and again.
