I just picked these up this evening and I am slowly Acclimating them using a 5ml Pippette.
I got A Group of 3 males to 1 female, as that was all he had.
Was So tempted by the other fish he had, but had to walk away as I want Feather Fin Jap Blues Next month and Ferarri Red/Blues.

Info

Will Take some Pix In the Morning once they have settled - Really Suprising that the Female is the more Colorful in this species.

Nice pick up Gill. I haven't seen those ones before but keep both the golden teddies, related, and the Heterandria formosa. Don't you just love tiny fish like that?

I understand the need to hold back too. I will be at the annual ALA convention in April and will no way be going there with all of my tanks full. I might sell off whole species from my tanks just to empty a tank for new things. My Limia melanogaster come to mind as one I really don't enjoy as much as I just wanted to try something new to me. They were an impulse buy at a club meeting.

Thanks, Yep I love little fish like these.

Yep it is Sooooooo Hard to hold back sometimes. You can spend hours just chatting before you actually choose anything.
I need to ween them off of Live Foods if possible and onto Micro pellets or Fry Food.

Watching the Males, they are trying to Impregnate the Endler Fry

NOt Sure why, but the female has sytematically Killed all the males. Had not seen the males for a few hours yesterday and found her pecking at them, found 2 dead on the sand.

That may not mean she killed them. She may just be eating the carcasses of the dead males.

Should have said more, After looking for the males, I found them all huddles in the Vallis, She would go up to them and Really have a go at them. The later saw her pecking at a dead one.
