I have new borns and apparently a loner from a previous spawn thats much larger than the new babies. These fish are so amazing especially how protective the father is. He shoo's the little ones back into the shell nest if they stray too far or if I move too close to the glass. It's so gratifying when fish spawn it's like you have everything running right. I also love how these guys don't eat thier young like live bearers. Guess it's time to add some more shells to the tank.
Does anyone have a good suggestion on what the best way to add the shells are? I don't want to upset anyone. I certainly will wait until they are a little older and are more prone to move out into the rest of the tank.
