Need Urgent Help Please!

Hi there i know this is my first post but my better has Fin rot and its gotton pritty bad.. but please bare with me i got my betta some BettaFix and yesturday i changed his water and added the correct dose.. but my problem is this. The Directions on the back are "Add 6 drops per pint , 12 drops per quart, or 1/2 a teaspoon per U.S. gallon of betta bowl water. Repeat dose daily for up to seven days before making a water change". Now the part were im having a problem understanding is "Repeat dose daily for up to seven days before making a water change" does that mean i continue to add the dose everyday without making the water change or at the end of the 7 days change his water and add the dose again?

Sorry for asking, but i just dont want to over dose my fish .

do the dose everyday and not water change for 7 days, some meds reduce in effect over 24hours so need to be updated daily

Thank you so much modaz, it was just a question that was nagging me because last night i read that i should only dose at water changes.

or you can water change every day and dose when the betta is in the new water,
