Have ran a 600L tank for ~ 10 years, throughout this time it has run on a Rena XP3 external filter.
Had the odd problem with seals etc, but now with weekly cleaning required as it pumps less and less water I think it's time for it to be replaced. In fact I think we've done very well in getting it to last this long!
Tank holds tropical fish.
XP3 appears to be discontinued so ideas and suggestions for it's replacement please, along with reasons as to why a particular filter.
