hi,

i put one teaspoon of salt per 10 litres. I think that for the 45 gal one it would be nice to have a community tank.

You will be mixing sea salt to make the right concentration for the particular fish that you have. Some brackish are almost fresh while others are almost sea water. Each has its own requirements that would be well worth learning before playing with your water. You will also need a way to test your water or it will end up the wrong concentration over time with water additions and changes going on frequently. Do not try to set up a brackish tank using table salt or "aquarium salt", they are the wrong salts for true brackish fish, not the silliness they suggest for livebearers, they are not brackish. Use the stuff they make for reef tanks instead but check your concentrations. No measuring spoon approach will be right for long.
