Need Stocking Advice / Help!

Hello all, i currently have a 55 gallon, stocked with only a blood parrot (my first fish, had him for about a year, got him when i knew Nothing about fish), but he is completely harmless and peaceful, no aggression whatsoever. and 8 buenos aires tetra. As you can guess it looks pretty bare, so i thought i would come ask here to get some recommendations on what to fill it with.. please, all thoughts are welcome! Thanks in advance!

ok here is my suggestion:

3 angelfish
4 cory cats
15 guppies (any sort, and it would look cool as they would stay in a pack)
5 tiger barbs
3 dwarf gouramis
maybe a ruby shark or several ram fish?

this is actually what i want to put in my 10gallon tank ...not as big as 50g. obviously not the same amount of fish

You cant put the following fish in a 10g

Angels - Get WAY too big for the tank
Tiger Barbs - Too aggressive in small spaces
Ruby Shark - Tank not big enough
Rams - Tank not big enough

You cant put the following fish in a 10g

I read it to mean 1 angel not 3 etc

Ok and now for a real suggestion,

so you already have a blood parrot and 8 buenos airies tetras in a 55G

What are the dimensions btw ?

how about 3 hoplo catfish or a bristlenose for the bottom?
or maybe a shoal of 5 Giant Danios or Boesmani or red rainbows

dimensions are 48 1/4 x 12 3/4 x 21. I was debating on a bristlenose, and still might get one, but i was at the fish store today and saw some Julii(sp?) cory's, and really liked them so decided to buy 8 of them. I know it may be risky with the parrot, but they were almost full grown, and the parrot really has shown no sign of aggression(just hope he wont think its food!), plus they have relatively small mouths. I also saw some raindow's while i was there and really liked them. Do they have any real personality? or just act like a big tetra? I really know nothing about them haha. Also, what about maybe adding a couple rams, or do you think that would probably be a bad idea? Thanks for the input so far though!

How big is the BP atm? Due to the tankmates you are successfully keeping it with atm I'm inclined to say that is it still fairly young, adults can sometimes be kept with smaller fish but in the main they will start to bully these once they mature

Rams are definitely not good tankmates and IMO wouldn't survive in this setup.

Rainbows do not have the greatest personalities IMO but add a bright flash of colour to the tank, They also get to a good size at around 5-6"
