Take all the stems out

Trim the bottom inch or so off just below a node (leaf intersection). If you want you can leave the bottom leaves on and just use them to hold the plant down.

If any come out of the substrate then just put them back until they get roots which will hold them down.

Cheers. I'll give it a go. :good:

Is this not Selaginella Wildenowii???

So it would appear.

According to Diana Walstad, it is non aquatic and will die a slow death underwater.

Dave.

Thanks Dave, yeah it has died a slow death and is now completely removed from the tank. :good:

Tank: Juwel Vision 260
Lighting: Arcadia Overhead Luminaire 4 x T5 (2xTriplus, 2xBluemoon)

4 T5s at what length and wattage? Also what is the color temperature of the Triplus, and the Bluemoon? Forgive me, I do not know the lighting specs of Uk tank systems. I'm guessing the tank is about 60-something gallons give or take, either US or UK. My conversion system is just a gestimate. It's too early in the morning for me to be accurate.

Pity about the fern, it makes a lovely terrarium plant. I rescued one from a LFS and now it's thriving in a covered glass bowl with a terrestrial moss. Very pretty.

llj :)
