Anyways, I was thinking of keeping guppies outside of my residence, as there is no room otherwise.

If I was to include a 200 W heater, maybe more than one as one could be a backup, what would you think?

The tank is a 50 gallon one...

Equipment
200 Watt heater - maybe more than one [backup]
50 gallon tank - maybe larger
bubbler
filter

Oh yeah, be nice and try to explain why it's not a good idea.... It's just common curtsey

with setting up a tank outdoors come a bunch of variables that act aggenst you
First of all placing any tank in the direct sunlight is a bad idea, it heats the tank to exesive temperatures which may kill fish.
Secondly drastic temperature changes will be bad for your heater because a drop in surrounding temperatures (like at night) will force your heater to constantly work without stop untill the surrounding temperatures raises, possibly burning it out(even if it is large or high wattage). Also other factors come into play such as foreign object entering the water via wind and neigboring cats and so on

So in the end i think it would be a bad idea to have a tank or any tropical fish outside which is too bad because it would be a cool thing to do.

talk about a useless forum....

I get one word of advice, which isn't bad, and tons of votes saying that it is a bad idea.

And to think a forum half your size is giving advice about this topic, left right and center

Paradise_Gourami says it all really, if you want another word of advise i would simply repeat most of what Paradise_Gourami has said already. Guppys only need a 10gallon tank to keep them, it really isn't that large especially if you go for a tall hex tank or something which takes up less space.
