ok i am picking up a large lot of fish on saturday, ive just got the list through of what i'll be getting but i havent a clue what some of these fish are!
can anyone id them and tell me a bit about them?

1. dwergbotias (botia sidthimunki ?)
2. Corydoras leucomelas (never heard of this type?)
3.Epalzeorhynchus siamensis
4.regenboog wernery (Iriatherina werneri ?)

if anyone can give me the 'standard' english names for these fish so i can read up on them i would be very grateful!!!!

1) Is that dwarf botia? Dwerg being the flemish for dwarf? 'Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki'
3) is 'siamese algea eater'.

Dwarf Chain Loach
Black fin Cory
Siamese Algae Eater
featherfin/threadfin Rainbow

thanks all for the replies! im off to do some research now i know what im looking for!

ohh siamese algae eaters, are they the big ones??? or is that chinese?

Chinese algea eaters can reach 10", they also have a reputation of being aggressive as they mature and are often missold as community fish when young.

Siamese algea eaters reach around 6" and often mistaken for 'false siamese algea eaters' and also 'flying foxes' so you may end up with eater of these fish if its been incorrectly ID'd. This page should help you decide if you are unsure.
