I have a newly stocked 55G
I have two Penguin 350 Bio-Wheel Filters
2 live bannana plants(I plan on adding more) along with fake plants and driftwood.

I currently have:
2 Angels
6 Rasboras
3 Electric Blue Rams
2 Roseline Sharks
1 cory cat

I wanted to add 2 red rainbows but I noticed some agression between the 2 Roseline sharks. I now understand they should be in groups so i want to add 2 more for a total of 4. If i do this i won't get the rainbows. I wanted to get opinions on the groups of fish i have chosen for the tank. Do you think this is a good amount and mix? Thanks for all of your time and i look forward to responses.

I don't have alot of experience with the sharks mentioned, so I am not in a position to make recommendations on your future stock plans.

I did, however, want to point out that Corydoras are schooling fish and must be kept in groups of at least 5, or 3 of each species for groups of 2 different species or more (e.g. 5 albino C OR 3 ablino, 3 Panda C). That way, they will feel much more secure and will live longer, happier lives. :good:

Roseline's need to be in groups of 5-7 minimum, ideally. Note that since they can get to 6 inches and have healthy body size, 5 of them would eat up at least 30 inches of stocking allowance out of your 55 inches, having a big impact on your stocking plan. A 55g however is a decent size for these fish, allowing them the big swimming room they need. (they like length I believe)

Welcome to our beginners section jtfishman! As a newcomer I am required to ask the standard boilerplate question of whether you are familiar with the concept of "cycling" to create a working "biofilter" for your fish? The members can help you with this if necessary or step in to help if your LFS has led you to believe you can stock fish before this cycling has occurred.

I second the comment on corys. Also what rasboras do you have? Maybe increasing this school as well. Welcome by the way!

Water Drop~ Thanks for the response... I already have the fish i labeled above and if i add 2 or 3 more roseline's and 2 more cory's as The Dark Goby and Karin sugeested do you think that would be overcrowding? I am definitely aware of the cycle process and have went through that prior to adding fish. I appreciate your comments and if anyone else has an opinion please let me know. I want to figure out the best combos!
