Here are the fish I currently have.

1 Yellow Tang
1 Blue hippo Tang
1 Longnose Hawkfish
2 Percula clown fish
1 Scooter Blenny
Bunch of Hermit crab

I'm looking for some fish that will hang out in mid water and swim in a school....any ideas?

Thanx

P.S. is school of fish spelled right?

I have three blue-green chromis. They pretty much hang around together all the time, active and very rarely out of sight.

If you get any get any, get at least three - five is better if you have room.

Spelling is good, by the way :good:

yeah recommend the blue-green chromis as well. what size tank.
i got three of them, 2 percula true clowns, scopas tang, yellow tang, and red spotted blenny. the chromis stay high in the water column usually together. i think the blue actinic light really makes them look cool. my tank is a 40 gallon, how big is yours?

poo-tang the yellow tang and the scopas tang need at least a 75 gallon tank, are they small or large?

eversurf how big is your tank, since you have a blue tang i would guess you'd have a tank big enought for a small school and anthias

Yeah, if you want shoaling fish, try chromis or anthias. I know eversurf's tank is a larger 4 footer (75-120) but I forget which exact model

firefish or scissortail gobies also will work...cardinals, pj or hifin

I have a 55G

Thanx for the Input guys :)

nice stock list! you are gonna have to plan an upgrade soon though as the tangs need 100gal minimum when they start to grow, if not more!

Yeah that's what I have read, but so far they are big as beer caps.

green chromis
anthias -lyretail anthias are nice
blue damsels

these are evrything ur looking for :good:

Lyretail might be a little too big for what I am looking to do. I think i will go with either 5 or 7 Green Chromis. I don't have any great fish.

Thanx for the help!!! :)

i was never a fan of the green chromis, untill i bough some. they are mad fish! not the least bit scared or timid of me putting my hand in the tank, they all come over to see if i bare food. they follow the cleaner magnet and the glass scraper scoffing any algae thet comes off the glass.

great choice of a schoaling fish, they do tend to pic on the weaker fish in the group though, i heard they are better if they are kept in odd numbers???
