Need Help :)

so i just bought 2 female mickey mouse cany platies yesterday and i alwayyss look for the pregnant ones at the pet store ive been fighting for fry for a long time since i havent had any since april ! so i finally found 2 healthy pregnant girls! i was planning on guppies but they didnt have any pregnant ones so i kept looking and found these.was gonna buy a balloon molly but they all looked rlly rlly sick and laying on the floor with tails bent..nah..ok anyway 1 of them is fatter than the other and squared of but its not HUGE yet..i can see eyes in this one and i guess that means shes past 2 weeks and when u look at her from above shes not that big but shes big...the other one has eyes in it too but its sooo skinny still like no bulging on the sides whatsoever..but its belly has dropped still?? can u help me and tell me the phases that happen before birth with these??after the eyes start to appear plz and thx

I can never see eyes so I don't look for them BK. Instead I judge my mollies by their shape. I have a link in my signature to a thread showing a typical molly's progress from one drop to the next. You may find you can see one of the stages I show in the pictures in each of your fish.

ive not kept fish for that long, but in that time ive seen a lot of livebearer pregnancies, and never seen eyes I go buy shape, guided by the advice by Oldman47 and other livebearer experts

well in all my fishes pregnancies i see eyes...im not sure why u didnt see em..if i shine a light from one side of the fish to the other and it stays still since the platy is so light i can see thru the skin and into the stomach and see like 10-15 eyes in it about . big maybe a bit bigger so im waiting and waiting and waiting but im pretty sure it wont be for another week or 2..i will check out that thread guys

YAYYYY! she gave birth! i was at school but i still caught 3 and thats good i guess!! DD another one is prego so im hoping that one is birthing in a week
