how many cory catfish should i buy for my new 7 gallon tank, i no its small but ive set out the tank with sand... caves....live plants and all the other things that the cory catfish love..id be gutted if i cudnt get some! :( help me...(was thinking off bronze albino cory catfish)

:hi:
I think most corys do better in a mature tank has opposed to a new tank.

I'm sure someone can give you more info

Make sure the tank is cycled first, naturally.

Please bear in mind that the albino variety is "farm produce". It was developed specifically for the aquarium trade and as such is not genetically as pure or unaltered as standard bronze corydoras (Wikipedia).

For a tank that small, you will want one of the pygmy cories like pygmaeus, habrosus or hastatus. Since you should have several cories in any tank where you have cories, the only way to shoehorn them into a tank that small is to use one of the pygmy species.

I have a 10 gal tank with 6 corys in and they are doing fine, even breeding. I would say get 4 or the pygmy ones.
