Need Help With Tetra 60l Please

I've just set up my Tetra 60l and its different to the 30l because the heater goes inside the filter box with the 60l
I've set it up in the left slot, but the lid is trapping the heater wire and causing the filter box to tip to one side
I'm putting the wire through the slot, but the lid is still trapping it
Please help!

And also, the filter is noisy with the 60l - I've had to take the box of balls out. My 30l filter was silent.

i think i might have the same tank as you

however i have no problems with noise. maybe there is just something loose that rattles

and the wire problem, i have little slits where i can put the wires through. i have mine on the right hand side of the tank

Hi I am using the slits but the lid is also trapping the wire causing the filter box to tilt

umm well looking at mine now i have the flter box on the right hand side with the heater wire in the left hand slot, the filter wire in the next one to the right and the light in the next one along from that

when i close my lid i have to move it a little bit to get it to shut tight but my filter box stays level.

Ok I've given the heater lead more slack and its fine now
Just wondering my balls are clanging

i only realised there were balls in the a few days ago. is your filter a tetratec, thats what i have. with a media with one side green and one white and a black one infront?

Yes its the filter that comes with the tank, also running another internal with spray bar inside but it was the balls that were clanging. TBH for what livestock I have the balls may not be necessary anyway
