i have had to sell all of my spare tanks so have no isolation tanks left, which is not ideal but thats how it is...

i have an ornatum that has been injured/attacked and isnt looking great. the others are picking on it so its not getting chance to improve and i fear the worse for it.

if anyone has a spare tank that lives locally that they could use to try and help the fish i would be very gratefull. at the minute i dont even have room for a small tank as our house is a building site and there is stuff everywhere and with 2 small children as well its not a great mix. otherwise i would go and buy a cheap tank to try and sort the fish out in.....

so if anyone could try and help this little guy please let me know

its almost impossible to get any pics as the fish is very skittish and on approach to the tank it hides.....

Might be a bit daft Matt but i have a 55 litre that i could empty my fry out of if thats of any use? It's not fantastic, but if it's of use then your welcome to use it. Also have an aqua one 620 that has a breeding pair of HRP's that i could dump in another of my tanks i guess if thats of use? Are you wanting someone to look after it or you take the tank?

Hi mate.

at the minute i have no room for a spare tank due to the building work and the house being a right mess with stuff everywhere.......

i might see if i can find a divider and isolate it that way. i think it may be a bit less stressfull for the fish too.

Ok mate, i would be happy to look after the fish if needs be providing you talked me through everything you wanted me to do.

I needed another tank in a hurry.
So I put a heater and filter into one of those big plastic containers (40L). Worked brilliantly! (Went into the loft and turfed some of my Mrs stuff out of one. Shhhh, don't tell her  )

I actually used to use those boxes for breeding fish in and growing them out, they do work well!

the fish is currently in a breeder trap/net thing to try and prevent it getting picked on too much but its not ideal.....

the state our house is in at the minute there really isnt any room for anything as all downstairs is either being worked on and the places that arent are full of stuff from the rooms that are.....! total mayhem here at the minute

You need a spare tank or someone to look after the fish until its well? I may be able to free up my 125l tank, but it depends how bad it is whether it would make the journey to me. I cant pm you on here, but you know where to get hold of me.
