Need Help With Heater Problem?

My heater is set at 22degrees and it will turn on even though the tank is at higher than this
The tank can range in temperature from 21-26.5 degrees in 24 hours and i dont know what to do ???
this is the second heater i have tried with this tank and it seems to do the samething all my other tanks stay at a stable temperature.

if anyone can help id be greatly appreciated!!

Where is your tank?
All you can do really is buy another filter as it shouldn't be coming on when the temp is higher, it means its faulty.

do you mean buy another heater???

Or take it back if less than a year old as its faulty if the heater is coming on when the tanks at a higher temp.

Have you thought it might be your thermometer thats the problem?

i did think that but its not i have a digital one in it and a normal thermometer both are reading same thing!!
