hey everyone, I unfortunately lost one of my black ruby barbs last night and today i noticed that one of the other ruby's looks like his scales are peeling a little bit, no idea what this is. He also just stays hiding in a floating log that I have in the tank, while the other ruby is swimming all around the tank. I don't think it's Ich because none of the other fish have it. Is it possible for only 1 fish in the tank to have Ich? I really like these fish and don't want to lose any more, plus they are kinda expensive here.

here are a few pics, hope this helps

from the looks of the pictures but not as you describe them it could be an ulcer... maybe.
could you possibly get a closer picture this would help a little better

unfortunately he did not make it through the night:( not sure where to go from here, should i be treating the entire tank with some sort of medication?
none of my other fish seem to be effected, just the ruby barbs
