Need Help Stocking 10G Tank

I am currently cycling my 10g tank with a female betta and I need help stocking it.I would like some red wag platies for sure and some male guppies.would it be okay if I were to put 3 or 4 male guppies and 1 male platy and 2 female platies(red wag)?and could I add some more fish?maybe some cleaning fish like cories(spotted,julii.or albino) my tank is being cycled right now and has plenty of hiding places and fake plants might get live plants in the future but not right now.so can you please help me stock this tank?it is heated and filtered.and has air pump.oh and by the way the female betta will not be in it after it is done cycling.

Hiya

If you get male and female platys then you'll soon be overrun with fry. You could try getting all males instead (good choice with the Red Wags by the way. Male Guppies fine but I think you might be running the risk of over stocking. When you say gallons do you mean UK or US?

Yes, very good observation from twinklecaz there, I often worry that our beginners are unaware of what a challange it will be if their livebearers start producing fry (usually its not if but when!) It can create a serious bioload problem for the filter! WD
