Fish Addict
Ok so I just set up my 30 gallon right now. I set up the tank by:
1: washed API First Player Pure Laterite and spread around bottom of tank.
2: Washed 40 pounds of Tahiti Moon Sand (creates 1.75in layer of sand)
3: Filled up with water and running filter to let sand settle
Thats all I have done so far. Heater isnt on since I dont have enough sockets due to running 5 and 10 at same time. Once the tank clears I plan to move plants over to the new tank (there right next to each other) and then the last of the decor. I will move all the media to the built in marineland filter and move over the Fluval +2. Once all is moved I will move fish over and then turn on heater (tank temp without heater is 70-78 anyways).
From there I plan to just watch the tank parameters for a week and then if all is will plan my next fish.
with 3 oto left (and 1 not looking to hot...) I am debating having more when its time to stock of going with Cory. Any opions? Was thinking either 7 Cory or 7-8 Oto total. Or perhaps 5 oto and 5 Cory? I will still have 7 Molly (6 still only an in long and may end up giving some away) and the dwarf Gourami.
