Need Help Quickly Please

I was buying brine shrimp today in an LFS I don't go to much but was in the area. I was having a nosey at the bettas, of course B) and they were in pretty good shape, nothing spectacular, but plump and good finnage etc. There was, however a section marked 'Combtails' and there were 3 of them. 2 of them definitely were male. But the little one in the pic below had a very full belly and shorter fins. I am NO expert by ANY means... is this a female???

Male for sure the bottom fin is to long for a female. But does "it" have a white dot under "it's" belly? Well can never be too sure can ya lol

He was very sweet in the shop, really coming right up to the glass and 'talking' to me
I thought he looked a bit tatty really
He was shinier in the shop, now he has lines - he's stressed out yeah?
I have tried to get him to flare but he's really placid - that pic ^^^ is the most angry I could get him lol
I tried looking for a white dot but couldn't see one
Is he combtail?

Yes i would say he was a comb tail. He will have lines for a lil while he might not flare for a day maybe two but i think he's nice good find

Yep, he's called Vega who was a character in Street Fighter lol. Was going to be Ryu til my mate ran through the other character names and I thought Vega was very cool.
