hmm mate i would'nt unless it's what you really want, Looking at that looks a 3ish footer, may be wrong, can you not get the meausurments first

i think that tank is tops 50g 70g cant say i would drop a 4 foot tank unless the g of this tank is better

space wise this would take less room but which has less g

it is defo higher then my 4ft by at least 5/6 inches, im thinking volume rather then length i can handle it being say a foot shorter as it has the depth to make up surface and the height, and it can go in the living room without taking up alot of space.

looks like A 200 litere tank to me

i have just set one up and this is remarkable similer

I would agree, looks like a tank I was going to have before getting my 4 ft.

The height makes no difference to the surface area, you will lose stocking room in that tank going from a four foot. The area of water open to the air is the one you want to be as large as possible and height does not come in to this calculation. I think the one I looked at which looks a similar size worked out to 180-190 litres.
The longest measurement across the tank was 3 ft, and it is not the same surface area as a regular 3ft rectangle tank, it is usually less.

looks about 3ft, I'd say its a 36 gallon corner tank (reminds me of the ones I used to sell at petsmart -when I worked there) I don't know about it being water tight though, look at the ground, he has it on some cardboard. Looks to me like that's there incase it leaks... possibly again.

i found out it's a seabray dolphin the measurements are h 24" w 27" d 18" which dont seem to be mathmatically possible? and in the cupboard there is a filter, pump, heater and some other random stuff

stick with the 4 footer. if it is a standard 4 footer you will be able to have a couple more fish (small ones) as the footprint will be bigger and therefore more surface area for gas exchange etc. taller tanks are not as good imo, its nice to have some height but i prefer length.

Cant you just move Ur 4foot in the corner diagnoally and pretend its a corner tank :D

i i could i would have my 6ft, 4ft, corner, 2ft and biorb in the center of the room no furnature just a cornicopia of fish tanks
