This fish was found dead floating near a boat ramp in a freshwater lake in Vermont (USA).  I think it's a knife fish, but I was wondering 1) if I'm right, and 2) any more specific species of knife fish it is?

All help much appreciated.

Clown or Feather knifefish. A now introduced pest fish in most south-east asian rivers. A highly predatory, crepuscular fish it can and will swallow prey half its size, whole.

It can survive low oxygenated waters and gulp atmospheric air from time to time. Usual length is 12 inches up to 3 feet depending on species.

Omg i sound like wikipedia lol.. anyways, i used to have this fish. Almost obliterated all of my fishes once hahaha

Thank you for helping answer my questions!  It certainly does appear to be a clown knifefish.  Not something that would ever survive a winter here in the northeastern US.
