Need Help Identifying Cichlid

I cannot figure out what kind of cichlid this is, since he is probably still showing his juvie colors. He is about 2.5 long at most. He was accidently mistaken as a yellow lab by the fish boy at the store, but when I got him out of the bag and into a tank, he definitely wasn't a yellow lab..unless they make yellow labs darker with a personality disorder When I turn off the tank lights all his fins get a dark outline, like a yellow lab. He is a shade or so darker yellow and often you can see black dots on each gill plate. He is definitely a bossy little chap. What could he be?

In this picture you can see my yellow lab with the Unidentified and you can also see his faint marking at the top fin. He looks orangish in that pic, but he is actually darker yellow instead of orange. But you can see the difference b/t the two.
