Hi all. I have recently been looking for some otos but I can’t find them anywhere. Does anyone know of a good website with cheap shipping where I could get some? Also, tips on keeping them.

thanks in advance!

Ordering online you will probably fine shipping to be between $25 and $45, and no cheaper.
As for tips, make sure you have a tank large enough for a group, with lost of driftwood and live plants. I also would not put them into a tank that has been running for less than 6 months. They usually will not eat prepared food, only biofilm from the tank. Avoid other biofilm feeding g fish like plecos or algae eating snails.

somteimes they are wild caught and may have to adapt a lot to eating food if you do not have a lot of biofilm as stated above they may starve. i see them at petsmart. you could do a groupon thingy and not have to pay shipping?

ok thank you. I never thought of a coupon!

Whenever I order online from most fish places I always subscribe to the emails or create an account. When you do so they usually provide a 10-15% off coupon (not including shipping). I also tend to order more fish than I am going to spend on shipping, just to make it worth it. Not going to spend $30 shipping on $20 of fish. I will spend $40 in shipping for $70 in fish.
