Wacky, I don't think Miss Wiggle was trying to be rude at all. The fact is, of all the replies to this topic, Wiggle is the only one who has spent time to read through your site and comment on it. All criticisms made are things that can be fixed pretty easily - and therefore the criticism was constructive. It's never wise to invite criticism and then when you get it tell the person to leave you alone. I think you should take Wiggles criticism for what it is, and be grateful for it.

I looked through your site briefly, and I agree with all of Miss Wiggles criticisms. But that's OK, because it is easy enough to fix those. I don't agree with the excuse that a website is only a few days old and so it is OK if it is not perfect. Personally, I think the content for a site should be as complete and accurate as possible well before the site goes live.

That said, I think it's great that you have the initiative and have put the effort into setting it up. Good luck with your website, I hope you keep it up and improve on it, and get lots of visitors too.

i would have been inclined to thank miss wiggle for the critism, you ask for all opinions and she gave up her dinner break to give it to you,and lets face it, you are going to go away and change the things the suggested,sorry mate, but if you cant take constructive critism,dont ask for it. but the phrase. "thanks miss wiggle for taking the time out to pick up on possible changes i could maketo ehance the site" would be usefull about now, i didnt look at the site and am not going to bother,its more than obvious your going to gripe about any suggestions anyway

I dont think you should put 'google it' when trying to get people to do a fishless cycle. A more detailed description is best. Sometimes google will bring up the: fill with water, wait a week method, which is not what your aiming for.

Havent looked around much more of your site, but I agree with the above comments regarding MW, she was trying to help you, as she does others that come here asking for advise. I believe an apology is in order.

Actually, several people have PM'd me with constructive criticism which i have taken into account. It was the sheer pessimistic tone of MW that hit me. I have not 'griped' once about any suggestions otherwise it would have been pointless asking! I have thanked MW for the comments, BUT it was apon re-reading that i took it the way i did. However, she has apologised and so im willing to leave it be.

Thank you for the criticism's, i will take them all into account and use them to make my website better

I like it a lot. I've never been too interested in angels, but it's definately a nice site. My fav page is the one about the different types; very useful. The only critisim I would have is that the pic in the top left corner seems stretched. If it's not then sorry, but it looks that way to me. And, of course, keep expanding!

Great! Thanks for the feedback! The pic in the corner, is streched, it was a sloppy 5 minute job XD it will be fixed!
It all started because i noticed how little dedicated sites their were for angels! I love them

I have to put in my two cents. MW's criticism was not at all rude. It was absolutely constructive and meant to guide you in a more successful direction. Before you claim that the tone is rude keep in mind this is a website in itself. I think it is very hard to judge from someones criticism whether it is rude or not in a text outlay. How can you truely get someones tone without talking to them?

Come on, give the lad a flippin chance He's 15 years old and this is probably his first attempt at website building (hope i'm correct)
Why do some people feel it neccesary to blast any ideas people have? And then people who are/were not involved pipe up with stupid comments. How the heck does anyone know what "this person" or "that person" meant by their comments? its only the poster that knows, so comments like "i dont think so and so meant that" is complete guess work.

Wacky's web site is not intended to make him a millionaire for pittys sake, its a hobby he would like to share with people.......and I'll tell you what.......he's done a better job than i could have done and probably better than a lot of others.

Wacky - take the critisism and make your site the best

Bronzecat - I do agree with you to a degree. I did post that I thought it was a good thing to do, and a good effort. However, I did also say that Miss Wiggles criticisms were legitimate and were made with the intent of helping - which is exactly what was asked for. There have been some harsh criticism of Wacky him/herself, but to be honest I'm starting to agree with them. The second to last post quoted people in the thread completely out of context - plus he/she claimed that Wiggles had apologised for their comments, when they hadn't; Miss Wiggle apologised if Wacky was so sensitive as to be offended by their comments, not for the comments themselves. It doesn't matter if Wacky is 15 or 55 - courtesy doesn't discriminate. Wacky is full of thanks for those who praise him/her, but ignores or attacks anyone who they don't agree with. That is a sign of arrogance and lack of respect.

By the way I don't have a horse in this race. I don't know either person. I have seen many of Miss Wiggles posts and I have only ever seen them as being friendly and helpful, but I don't know them personally. So, to keep this on topic: Wacky, keep working - take the advice you've been given and take it graciously - even if you don't agree with it. Don't develop a persecution complex - no one is out to put you down. And above all, on the internet if you ask for criticism, you will get it. Take it like a man/woman : )

I'm joining Miss Wiggle, Shelaghfishface and Soaup in the Luxury Lounge where you don't get sprayed with other peoples urea, and can have a nice chat with out bursting into tears. 'Night.

I did not imply that Soaup was a simple soul. Simple soul was referring to people who were taking the micky out of wacky, i.e. statements like Laughable.
My reference to Soaup was concerning the fact that some people come in on threads and dont actually add anything constructive, i.e. very well said ffarrell.

I came on the thread after we had pm'd wacky with our thoughts on his website. Constructive thoughts without taking the micky.

I noticed he was being flamed by a couple of people and thought that asking people to give him a break may have got the topic back on track? Yeh right! I guess some people just dont have their own opinions?

My opinion, but does that not make it sound like you're the one with the territorial issues? And i think it was wacky who took the spraying, not you. And it takes an awful lot more than anyone on this forum can throw at me, for me to burst into tears.
