Hello All..does anyone know of an inexpensive hanging fan to lower temps in my 20gal high
thAnks

Why do you need a fan? Do you have an adjustable heater?

Heater is good issue is tank is at the high end at 81 degrees and gets to 82 when AC is off.Would like to lower temps for corys and tetras

I would say get a caller, but those things can be pricey.

I guess I'm still not understanding... is it just that one end of the tank that gets to hot?

The room temperature brings up the temperature in the tank .The heater is set at 79 but the air temp boosts it up to 82

I have never heard of anyone having this problem.

Try to move the tank under/near a fan/air vent.

The op lives in a warm area and the tank needs cooled instead of heated

unless the water temperature is going to be high all year round, don't worry about it.

the only way to keep an aquarium cool is with a chiller unit (expensive and not worth using for most fish), or an airconditioner in the room.
