Need An Opinion

Ok so I have a tank with some fry a nursery tank and I saw this morning that at least one of the larger daphnia I had put in at the weekend was still alive! So I was wondering perhaps if I added some more daphnia to the tank that they might breed and the fry could eat the baby daphnia and those that managed to out grow the fry's mouth would be able to go on to breeding more!

Does anyone think that this might work or not? I'm not too sure!
