Hi , I have several 5 gal tanks that have LED lighting on the hoods.....I have 2 ten gallon tanks that have the reg. bulbs....and I have a 20 that also has LED lighted hood....I have Bettas and live plants in all the tanks....I know I need different lighting in the 10 gals. but each hood has 2 bulbs and when I priced the bulbs they are about $12 each......so the question is, is the lighting in the 5 gal tanks OK for plants and the 20 gal.....OR could I get some LED plant lights and shine them in the direction of all my tanks....would that work for the plants? I really don't want my plants to die....so far they are looking ok....but I'm sure I need better light....thanks for any help.
