Need Advice Before I Do This

have got a nutrafin co2 system ( bought it today from lfs)----- really hoping its pretty fool proof


i have a 36 gallon (app) tank

1 siamese fighting fish
1 common plec
4 clown loach

lots of fern type plants

thing is im terrified to use this as i know a small mistake on my part will cost my fish dearly, but i am wanting the plants to grow out and really look lovely, the clown loaches give them a hell of a time so if i can help all well and good.

need to know of any major do`s and dont`s

I think basically with yeast based CO2 systems you're fairly safe as they can't really produce enough CO2 to gas your fish (thats not to say you shouldn't be cautious).

Hey shela, will be interested to hear how it goes. What are your watts/gallon lighting? Are you going with any plant nutrient substrate?
