Well I have a 75 gallon tank as of now, with the following... 3 Long Finned Black Tetras, 2 Female Sunset Platies, 1 Leopard Cory Cat, 1 Metallic Orange Striped Cory Cat, 6 Neon Tetras, 1 Pair of Fancy Guppies, and an Apple Snail.

My question being, can I keep 1 Pair of Rams in there, without any turbulance? :fun:

I cant see why not, there is nothing territorial on the mid to bottom level of the tank so it should be fine. What type of Rams are you contemplating? blue's and gold's can be touchy butterfly/bolivain rams are more hardy but generally not quite as showey

yep, you should be fine as long your tank is well established

I agree with the two guys above! :p
Id say youd wanna add a couple more cories too! They will be more happier in groups of up to 6.

Id like to know whats the difference in attitude between blue and golden rams?

nothing, they are just color morphs.

Bolivians are the other type, and they are a bit more aggresive, but hardier.

Hi, I have a pair of the Boulivian Rams and to be honest they are very dull and not a pretty fish at all. I have had the Blue German Rams and they are very pretty in color. Something else you might think about is a pair of Kribensis. I had a pair with my Angels and they were fine, even when they spawned I did not find them aggressive towards the other fish at all.

Good Luck.......bugsy :)

im pretty sure that gold rams are the albino colour morph of blue rams, i have on and it seems to be pretty hardy.

Blue and Gold Rams (one in my sig) are beautiful little fish but as suggested are quite fussy about water. Ideally Nitrates below 20 mg/l (obviously zero ammonia, nitrite) as well as soft, acidic water. I've heard they're generally so fragile due to over-breeding (that's in the UK anyway).

I have one pair in my planted 34G and have noticed some improvement in colour since softening my water furthur to GH 5, KH 2.5 (pH 6.5).

You could have 2 or maybe three pairs in your size providing you have the right water and plenty of plant cover/decor to give them plenty of terrority and security.
