Need A Little Help

Hey guys i just bought a pH bufferer to bring down the pH of my aquarium water. The solution is little white dots and it said add 1 measure (enclosed). There was nothing in the bottle so is the measure the cap?? Also do i put it right in??? Any help would be appreciated.

i wouldn't use chemicals personally, as i don't like messing with chemicals in the tank. wouldn't peat in the filter be a better idea?

yea i dont have any peat. where could i get it from?

also why are chemicals so bad??

they don't have perminant affects and have to be constanly added and can make the pH swing.

peat, i don't know never bought any, it's out there though lol someone else will know though.

what does your tap water read at now?
