Hi all

i have a 23L (6 US Gallon) Fluval Edge tank and currently have a single red beta in it, been setup for a good 3-4+ months now and water levels are doing great and now i want to get my beta a friend or 2 to swim around with i know betas fight and im not sure what fish would go well in the tank with him.

any suggestions?
a would like to know as soon as possible if people can help because im away into town today and will most likely get them while im there.

Thanks

Matty

not a big fan of shrimp in a fish tank.

and arnt endlers livebearer fish? a wa always told they are hopeless to have in a tank with a betta something to do with the colours and fins

Endlers don't have those long flowing fins and the don't have flashy colors so they are alot more compatible with a Betta than a guppy, and yes. they are livebearer fish so make sure you only get males or only get female
P.S if you are having trouble finding endlers many fish shops mark them as feeder guppies. Get the ones with splotches of colors on there body because those are the males and if you get females they will likely be pregnant.

Listen to Fishy Friend 2, Guy seems to have great experience with Bettas. Since you got 6 gallons of space you can afford only 6 inches fish if you dont want your tank to be over crowded or stress the fish.
Sounds tough right,
Believe me I have made real big mistakes and am glad I have learnt some lessons on my way. :good:
