I have set up a 65 gallon tank and put some of my larger fish from my other tank in there. Plus it came with a couple of fish. All the fish in it are black and I want to add some color to the tank.

Here is what is in it:

3-3 inch clown oaches
2 4 inch ID sharks
1- 4 inch RTBS
1- 3 inch albino RTBS
1- Angel

The angel can come out if needed.

Are there any bright colored cichlids that I can add to this to give it some life?

Thanks
-Nick

I'm also posting this in the other cichlid forum for Africans

those ID sharks will grow way to large for your tank. and they're ever active you will need to re house them soon.
as for the africans they need very high ph around 8 and its not good to mix them with new worlds cichlids

I know about the ID sharks. They were sold to me when I had a 10 gallon tank and I will be rehoming them in the future. I feel like I type that 15 times a day.

:)

Clown loaches can get to be 16 or 17 inches, and will need to be put into a bigger tank (80 gallons or more). I wouldn't add anything at the moment, until you sort out the re homing of the ID and clown loaches first, then you can get some more fish. Is the Angel a veil tail variety?

This: 3 Clown Loach, 1 Black Angel, Peacock Eel, 2 Iridescent Sharks, Chocolate Albino Plec, RTBS, Albino RTBS is a pretty good stock, especially for a 60 gallon tank. I personally wouldn't anything else.

Good luck with those Africans (worst mix I could think of). 5 gallons extra ain't gunna' help. I hate people who don't take advice for a grain of salt...

Why ask for advice if you're gonna disregard every bit of it?

Here is the stocking suggestion I was given:

Smaller, Less Aggressive Mbuna Aquarium

Select any 3 species (max 12 fishes):
• Metriaclima estherae
• Pseudotropheus saulosi
• Pseudotropheus sp. "Acei"
• Labidochromis sp. "Hongi"
• Labidochromis caeruleus
• Labidochromis sp. "Perlmutt"
• Labidochromis chisimulae
• Iodotropheus sprengerae
• Cynotilapia afra
Do not mix any Labidochromis species.

I picked out ALL fish from this list!!! and now I am being flamed for the "Worst possible mix!!"
