I recently bought a shoal of young gouramis including golden, opaline and three spot, since I bought them some of my baby bristlies have appeared at feeding time with split caudal fins and chunks taken out of their caudal fins too.
The bristlies themselves don't appear stressed and I have to admit, I observed my gouramis for hours when I first got them to make sure they weren't hassling anything or being hassled themselves and they didn't seem very interested in the baby bristlies.

Could it be these guys though?

When you say baby Bristlies, Just how baby are they... If they are baby babies, even a Guppy would be naughty... As a rule, the Trichogaster group will not hassle a BN, but if it is small, any fish will be a culprit.
