Since starting with 1 male and 1 female guppy, I had the opportunity to (sort of) study or annalyze the offspring to a certain extent and having delivered 4 times at (approximately) 28 day intervals at 27 degr C and 100 fry at a time..... I also noticed that the male/female ratio of the fry is about 20 males in every 100 fry..... This rings true to my advice to keep 1 male to every 4 females.... Nature dictates so!
