Name These Fish

Hi all can anyone name these fish for me i got them this afternoon and have forgoten what they are, and would like to look up some info on them. I think ther are two types of tetra and somthing that I seem to remember was called a golden wag platy or somthing.


This I belive is a golden wag platy? they have a orangy coulerd head and tail, with black dots on the tail and they have a white center.

Next are some sort of tetra look like zebras

and finaly i cant remember what these are at all apart from some sort of tetra

Any help giving them names so i can look them up on here.

1st: some kind of red platy, not a wag though.2nd: looks like zebra danios3rd: may be x-ray tetras but not sure at all.

edit first one might be a mikey mouse platy

They are Golden Wag Platys, Zebra Danios and Serpae Tetras, in that order.

Agree with above: A.K.A. marigold platies, zebra danios, and serpae tetras. Make sure you care careful with the serpaes, they are notorious fin nippers and many including myself have had some bad experiences with them, even in large groups.

esfa wag platys dont have black "dots". there whole tail is outlined in black and so is there top fin. so it has to be part mikey mouse.

thanks all i just found the Serpae Tetras http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=35121 and figured out thats what i had. in the lfs it advertised them as good comunity fish, i asked if they needed to be kept in a shoul so ended up buying 6
