Hi, I have what I believe to be a mystery snail...it is the offspring of the very first snail I had which has died. It had about 200 eggs and only a few have survived. The one that has gotten to be good size has been doing well but I noticed today that it has little black almost rat poop looking stuff sitting on its shell...and they look like I could just touch them and they would fall off...what is this? As for useing egg shells for calcium could I do this since I have rope fish as tank mates?
