so i had this blue mystery snail, and he keeps on hiding i dont know where he is, hides in dark and hard to find under the smooth rocks
That's ironic, I have the same problem. I have one black racer nerite snail and he is the same color as the wood in the tank and his black shell matches the background too. I can never find him but he does have a few favorite spots on the wood. I can occasionally see a strange lump on the wood that is a snail.so i had this blue mystery snail, and he keeps on hiding i dont know where he is, hides in dark and hard to find under the smooth rocks![]()

Hello there!so i had this blue mystery snail, and he keeps on hiding i dont know where he is, hides in dark and hard to find under the smooth rocks![]()
i had a black and blue one, and my rocks are all natural-pastel color tooHello there!
So I used to have mystery snails until I got angelfish who are jerks...so I had to give away my snails. But... I know how important it is to be able to find them if you need to do water changes, etc. You can paint their shells with nail polish to help. You want to make sure the shell is clean and don't get any on it's body. You should research it before you attempt but it can be helpful if finding them is important. Most of mine were big and yellow and so finding them was easy although I had a small black one or when I had babies and then I learned about the polish.
Best of luck to you!
ill show you some later!Hey there
