Today while doing regular maintenance on my 30gal I spotted two little fry swimming around my lilaeopsis. They seemed happy and were doing a very good job of hiding from the other fish. So I nearly left them there till I saw my rasboras kept chasing them. So I manage to net one while the other little one went and hid somewhere behind the plants at the back of the tank......
So it is now in with my 3 week old platy fry. It is quite a bit bigger than them though not as big as my 2 month old guppy fry. I am guessing it is a swordy as it is stockier then a guppy fry and not as small as a platy fry...it has some black on its top fin....matching my red wag male sword and its mother could by my neon sword or my blue/white marbled sword (though I never noticed either of them as being pregnant)...
Will be interesting what he grows up to be
SOOOO cute
