Mystery Betta Illness, Help!

Ok so the gray slime, or whatever is was is all gone and I finished the full treatment of Maracyn. The fish is better, but still not himself his appetite still is not a good and he still is not as active. I still see those white specks on his Pectoral Fins (first picture), I dont know what they are but they havent gone away and there is about 2 more of them. They seem too big to be Ich, as I checked his Whole body with a magnifying glass and found no other spots, dots, or anything else abnormal.

Madel Coppersafe treats Velvet,Ich, or external parasites. This now seems more like parasites than fungus or bacteria, so should I now treat him with Coppersafe to see if that rids him of these white spots? Whatever these are they might have gotten inside and caused him to weaken, and the gray slime he had could have been extra mucous from parasite irritaion.

So the maracyn only helped getting rid of the slime not the spots.

Any redness to the spots.
Do the spots look like there filled with fluid, or hard looking.
Do the spots move position.
Spots on fins can also by lymthocystis.

If he still flicking and rubbing it's up to you if you add the coppersafe med.

Where the spots are it appears to have a bit of red I assume from irritation. It looks like they are fluid filled. It doesn't appear that they move, but they are slowly getting more numerous.

It dosn't sound like whitespot to me.
It sounds like it could be bacterial.

All you can do really is isolate and try the maracyn again.
I would advise using the med for a least 10 days.
If you want to change meds there tetracycline, but I wouldn't recommend using it in the main tank. Due to destroying the beneifical bacteria in the filter.

I'm trying Coppersafe for 2 weeks, all you add is a teaspoonful once, and it lasts up to a month, but being whatever caused this might be breeding, I am doing a full water change once a week to try and eliminate whatever pest did this, so next week i'll re-add the Coppersafe after the water change. If he still isnt 100% then I will do the second Maracyn treatment. He is looking better and eating more, and his poo is normal again, so that's a start. I also discarded all live plants as the meds might harm them, and they might have had parasites or something living ob them, I can just buy more when he is better.

Ok.
Good Luck.

I got some HQ photos to possibly help diagnose better.

circled in red are the 3 "things" on his fins.

are the pits the same on both side
i am thinking it might be part of
his lateral line receptors

Ah yes, I do see them on the other side, I never knew what they were though figured I be safe and post it anyway. Well that's one issue solved, now I just need to figure out whats on his fins.

nice looking fish like it might
be birth defects or something like that
you never know by the way love the close up
work must have a good camera to do stuff like that

Thanks for the compliment.
The fish though had not had those things on his fins a few months ago, so I know it's not a defect. I'm thinking it's a parasite, and I was hoping someone here could i.d. it for me.

I can't make much out in the pics.
Take a closer look with a magifying glass to see if the things on the fins have legs.
Do the spots move on the fins.

I used a magnifying glass but it's still too small to make out what it is. I dont think they move, they appear to be stuck in the same area like a cyst or something. If you save the image you could possibly zoom in more on your computer if you have something to view the photo in.

I would try the maracyn again and do a ten day course.
Maracyn one and two, or maracyn plus.
