my fish are colourful and healthy, but above the waterlevel in my tank there are these worms between 4mm and 8mm long. these worms are not effecting my fish in any way, infact i dont even no if they live in the water. i have used metheleyene blue, and the temp is on 30 degree but there still there. i have been told they are due to over feeding but im not convinced, does any1 no???

I read a thread about the white worms a couple of weeks ago. I"m sorry I can't tell you what they are, but I had them in abundance at the time. The fish do like to eat them, from what I remember, and apparently they are no cause for worry.

At the time I saw them in my tank, I was concerned about flukes, as I had 2 very sickly silver mollies.

Don't know if this helps at all, but keep watching, see if your fish eat them. I haven't noticed any in my tank since that episode a couple weeks ago.
