I have 2 females in a community tank, but didn't have a male yet.
I just got back from the lfs, and this time, I haven't been able to resist.

I've been running a 15g tank to raise livebearer fry, but seeing this betta in a small jar, I bought him, and he now has the 15g tank for himself.
He's currently exploring his big domain... :)

just a logical question then: is it okay for him to be in this tank?
It does have a filter, but I guess the tank is big enough to have some calm places...
any tips on bettas in general or their tank?

Happy greetz!

Wow your betta has a 15 gallon all to himself?? :hyper: Man that is one lucky betta!

He'll do great in the tank, just try to keep the water from being too agitated with air bubbles and filter flow, lots of places to hide, and lots of clean water and food variety and he'll be the happiest betta. :)

thanx!
I'll try to make him as happy as possible, and who knows, maybe some day, he can be a daddy :D
although I'm not sure about that, too afraid a female could die...

(I'll try to post a picture)
