Hi

I would really like to receive some feedback about this little chap. He was rescued from my community tank soon after being born alongside his brother. (who looks exactly like a female with no colour development so far), I think all of the other siblings were eaten. Anyway, he is now approx 6 weeks old and released back into the community tank and faring well. I think he is amazing in colouration, and not anything like the adult Guppies. As I am new to fish keeping I would really appreciate any opinions. Is he unusual? Sorry the picture does not really show up his colouration, but my camera is not the best, and he is a very busy little fish lol

Thanks
C

It looks like an endler crossbreed.

Beautiful though.

I'm sure more colour will develop and tail will grow as he's only young still

Hi

New though I am to all this, I also thought he looked like an Endler, I expect mum was already pregnant when I bought her. Still, for a newbie, fascinating to watch the colours develop.

That is a nice looking guppy but not an endler in my estimation. The colors do look a great deal like a wild type guppy. If the tail stays reasonable in size and the colors just get richer, it will be a very nice fish indeed. An endler usually have a much more intense color than that guy and tend to be small fish. Some endler / guppy crosses retain the size of a guppy with some of the color of an endler but an endler's color is much more saturated.

hehe nice guppy your will see how colour it gets when it grows fully

hi, he look's alot like my swordtail guppy's ,he might not have a full sword tail but some of mine don't when they are cross bred but the colouring and shape are the same as mine as he grow's older his tail might get longer and have more colour.

Thanks everyone, I'm gonna see if I can find any pics of Swordtail Guppies now
