My Trusty Ebo Jager Heater Failed And Killed All My Fish

I come home one evening and all my fish were dead. I checked the temp and it was at 95 degrees and the setting was still the same. It's always been at 78-80 so I don't know what happened. This heater is about 10yrs old. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Sadly you're not the first person to suffer the fate of a malfunctioning heater. This happens more often than not which is why I personally replace my heaters every 2 years. Not woth the headache of loosing the whole system when a $25 part once every couple years can easily be purchased. 10 years is OLD for a heater

thats awfull,the 2nd today i have heard of,my heaters are about 18months old iam off to the lfs,to renew them,sorry for your loss again,kenny

Yeah, it happened to me, I lost a whole tank of very gorgeous show quality female bettas lost heart and turned the tank brackish

It is awful isn't it
