My Test Results For The New Tank !

Ok got my liquid test today and done the tests. heres the results

ammonia = 0.25
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 0
Ph= 7.6

obviously everything grand but im abit worried about the ph.
Is this a big thing, 7.6 is the highiest on the chart.
What you all think ??

A pH of 7.6 is nice and low compared to my 7.8. It is nothing to worry about unless you are getting particular fish that must have a low pH.

Everything is not grand. The ammonia is too high if you have any fish in that tank. You are due for a 50% water change to get the ammonia levels down. If you have no fish yet, you could use that ammonia along with a little more to start cycling the tank's filter. If you have not already read up on cycling, I have links in my signature area for both the fishless and the fish-in cycle methods. Until you have done one or the other, your filter is not ready for any fish.

Ok thanks, i have fish in the tank.3 tetras,they have all been ok sore far.im doing water changes daily and the ammonia is between 0 - 0.25.
